When people saw him, they saw kindness. They saw someone who lived differently—someone who chose love over everything else.

St. Francis reminds us to slow down, to notice the beauty around us, and to treat all of God’s creation with love and respect.

And in doing so, we learn to see the world the way God sees it—full of goodness and wonder.
