Long ago, before Mary was even born, God had a very special plan.

He knew that one day, Mary would become the mother of Jesus. And because her role was so important, God gave her a beautiful gift from the very beginning.

From the first moment of her life, Mary’s heart was filled with love and goodness. It was a quiet, gentle gift—one that made her ready to say “yes” to God.

As Mary grew, she stayed close to God. She spoke to Him in prayer and trusted Him with her whole heart. She listened, even when she did not yet know what His plan would be.

One day, an angel came to Mary with surprising news. She had been chosen to be the mother of Jesus.

It was a big moment. A moment that could have felt scary.

But Mary trusted God.

And so, with courage and love, she said “yes.”

Because of her “yes,” something beautiful began. God’s plan started to unfold, bringing hope and light into the world.

Mary reminds us that loving God doesn’t always mean understanding everything. Sometimes, it simply means trusting Him and choosing to follow Him, one small step at a time.

And just like Mary, we can learn to say “yes” to God in our own lives—through kindness, through prayer, and through the little good things we do each day.
